Looking for friends, or more

I`m finding it more and more difficult to have respect for people of the republican persuasion. In general, I find them to be greedy, or un-informed, or un-caring, or evangelical. I can`t imagine dating a republican at this stage of my life.

After a brief hiatus, I'm ready to try again.

I believe that the government must be the final safety net for its citizens. The Republicans believe that government`s role is to further enrich the rich, hoping (or not) that the rich will take care of the poor. Obviously, they don`t grasp the real definition of the word "conservative".
