For those of you familiar with personality typing, I'm on the cusp of INFJ/INTJ, so basically I'm an idealist who is also very analytical. I'd like to get to know more people around whom I feel philosophically and spiritually at ease. Since I'm pretty reserved until I fell comfortable around a person, finding those who share my interests can be daunting for me. I enjoy creative pursuits of all sorts but I'm not a classic arsty fartsy type, as I'm very organized and not flamboyant. Lately I'm taking an interest in science, but it's rather an abstract interest since I have no education whatsoever in science. I treat people how they treat me. Respect me and my respect is thoroughly earned. Condescend or act like my thoughts and feelings are not valid, and this favor will also be reciprocated. If that sounds like serious business, I also do have a witty sense of humor. I "can't take a joke" if it's an insult cloaked as a joke and I don't see why I should. I enjoy being outdoors, writing, thinking too much, sex and obscure music. I'm not looking for a serious relationship. I'd prefer casual things with people I can like and respect, but who are also not into serious commitments at present. If something serious were to manifest itself naturally that might be another story, but I've learnt that if you go looking for something you never find it and only tax yourself trying, so I'd rather have a good time and take what life throws me. What am I looking for? The title of my profile would provide a basic summary. I really can't see myself dating a religious person (tried once and could not be myself at all), nor someone who doesn't have a generally liberal stance in life, and I especially can't see dating someone who thinks I shouldn't be allowed to have control over my body and life. Intelligence and compassion are always good things. On the shallow end, I tend to find slimmish/lanky people cute, but I suppose that's a generalization.
