Woohoo!

I live in a Democracy and am a firm believer in freedom and my rights to whatever party, religion, etc. that I choose to be a part of. I am very liberal, believing that gay marriage/civil unions are a must if our society is to ever be equal. We women are still behind and treated differently on many levels, and as a Democrat, I don't pretend to support institutions that hold us back. Environmental issues are a hot topic right now, as are animal rights. And I do believe that global warming is happening, that if we don't hurry up, we are dooming ourselves. I could go on, but, as you can see, I feel strongly about these issues. I'm looking to network and make new friends, have great conversation, and get the ole mental gears oiled up and working properly. (Don't have much intellectual stimulation these days, unfortunately).
